Time flies!

Hello All,

I hope everyone is having a great day today. How has it already been almost two weeks since my last blog post? Time really does fly!

Stream Updates

This week, I made some schedule changes on Twitch to mix things up and cope with the heat here in NW AZ. I started my streams an hour earlier and added nighttime sessions on Friday and Saturday. Adjusting to the earlier start time will take some getting used to, but I plan to keep it for at least a couple more weeks to see how it goes. I enjoyed the Friday night stream and will continue with it for now. However, the Saturday night stream was too exhausting with two consecutive late nights, so I'll be looking for a different night for that one. Streaming 20 hours over two days was intense, but I wanted to give it a try. I'm still figuring out which night to add a second nighttime stream, so stay tuned to my socials for updates. Additionally, I'll be bringing a popular fishing game to the channel and reintroducing a redemption for Marbles on Stream. I'm also exploring new "starting soon" screens and transitions so work continues!

Editing Of Remnant 2

Work continues on my first Let’s Play series of Remnant 2. Episode #25 is about 50% complete and on track to be released on its usual Friday schedule. Despite the challenges of this game, I’m extremely happy I persevered and pushed through. Sticking to a weekly schedule has really helped me establish a routine for the Let’s Play series. While the videos don’t get a lot of views, I’m committed to improving my editing techniques and becoming more efficient with my time.

Time, The hardest thing to manage

Time has always been one of my biggest challenges in life. While working, editing, and networking, time flies by, and before I know it, even though it feels like I just woke up, it’s already nearly midnight. I am constantly trying to improve myself and my habits, so I’m committing to this: I will update this blog weekly for a Wednesday release to ensure there isn't a two-week gap between posts in the future.

Website Plans & Other Content

Work on the website took a back seat last week due to the new stream schedule, but I'm now continuing to make progress. I recently wrote and published my game review for “RoboCop: Rogue City.” While I continue to work on my writing skills, I sometimes struggle to get my thoughts onto paper. With the help of this blog and the reviews I write, I hope to see improvement over time. This weekend, I also plan to release my RoboCop: Rogue City YouTube videos—one showcasing the cut scenes from the game and another featuring a full gameplay playthrough, both with no commentary. Although I’m still unsure about the effectiveness of this type of content, I will continue to push forward and experiment.

Final Thoughts

As a content creator, I am constantly working to improve the content I produce and explore new categories, time slots, and content types. I want to be more than just a streamer; I want to provide content that has value beyond my live streams. Like everyone, I have good days and bad days, and as a streamer, people expect you to always be cheerful. When you’re not, it can negatively impact your stream. It’s easier to have a bad day when you’re not live and just editing. It’s easy to forget that streamers are human too. They’re not always happy and perfect, but they show up most days to provide entertainment and a distraction from everyday problems. Having a big heart full of emotions might not be the best quality for a streamer, but it’s one of the best qualities a person can have. In the end, I can’t change who I am or the care and love I have for the world and its people, but my hope is that by continuing to show my true self, I can make even one person’s day better and make them feel loved when they might not have otherwise.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I can continue to provide interesting content for all those who come here, or to twitch, youtube, etc. Don’t forget to follow me on X or join the discord for more updates and content. I’m looking forward to sharing more with you all soon.

Sloth General, Aveege
