1 Week Late

Hello All

So it's been about 2 weeks since my last update and I apologize for that. I know there will not be many following along with my blog but I do want to start getting one of these out weekly at least.

What have I been up to?

These last 2 weeks have flown by quicker than I realized. Last week I did not get a blog post out because I was working on what I consider to be one of my biggest tests as a content creator and a YouTuber. I along with some other content creators got a chance to play 4 hours worth of Star Wars Outlaws by Ubisoft. As a member of their content creator program, I was honored to be given this sneak peek gameplay opportunity. This is the first time I have ever gotten a chance at something like this as a content creator. Even better it was a Star Wars game and anyone who knows me and my name's origin story knows I am a massive Star Wars fan.

This opportunity also meant creating a video like I had never done before. A sneak peek preview instead of a let's play series or a #nocommentary game run is a totally different beast. In the end, I was very proud of the video and content I put out, and if you have not seen that video yet, make sure to go check it out here. I had hoped this preview video would bring in more views and subscribers to the channel and help me get closer to being a YouTube partner and monetization. Surprisingly my cut scene video from Homeworld 3 has blown it away with views and subscribers. Being a content creator is a constant struggle and I do my best to cope with the ups and downs.

Last Week

I also did want to touch on this last week of streams, between Internet outages, migraines, and a buggy 5year old game my frustration level has been at an all-time high, then combine that with temps ranging from 90F(32c) at night all the way up to 120F(48c) during the day had me ready to call it quits on more than one occasion. Tuesday with my return to Fallout 76 and the client still being so bug-filled for me, it was my last straw for the week. I hate myself anytime I let my anger and frustration get to me and for the last half of my life I have worked hard on getting better at dealing with my anger and frustrations at things. In the years I have grown and have gotten better with my anger but there is still work to do. Life is a constant battle of learning and improving one's self and I am no different than most people who want to be better. It's hard work and a long road but in the end, it's worth it. I much prefer the calm and zen days more than the angry and frustrated days. So even if this week was a rough one, each day I wake up and work on making a better day than before, some days I succeed, and some days I fail, but what is a more quintessential statement about "Life" than that?

Upcoming Charity Drive

This next week will bring my first Charity event for StandUp2Cancer, I was honored to be asked by MoreAmour of the brick-building community to join in this event. People don't ask me to join things often anymore so it was nice to feel like someone wanted me to join something.

Other Content Creation Work In Progress

Between the content I am working on for my YouTube channel, stream improvements, and working on the website these next 2 days are going to be very busy even if I am not live on Twitch. On the YouTube side, I am working on finishing up a cutscene movie for my Robocop: Rogue City play-through, along with my next Let's Play video for Remnant 2(3 videos left in this series), and finally some other secret video projects that I can't talk about yet. Over on the Twitch side, there is a lot of stuff to do so I keep referring back to my CRS list and work on improvements. Recently I started using the lurkbait fishing game as an extra side game for viewers to play while watching the channel so I want to add some custom prizes to the prize pool. I have some sounds I want to add in along with some other tweaks to the TTS to finish up also. I am still debating the return of Stream Raiders and the extra processing power that the app requires to run while streaming, some members of the community have asked for its return so considering it. On the website side of things I need to get the August VP photo section started, get this blog posted, and also add some guides into the guide section. My hope is I can also do some reorganizing of my Discord this "weekend". A lot of work ahead so I should get this finished and posted.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog and get a little closer to Aveege's mind. Much love to all!
